What is the difference between backup and disaster recovery?
Backup keeps copies of your data so you can restore individual files or systems after loss. Disaster recovery is the wider plan for getting the whole business running again, alternate infrastructure, the order of recovery, and how quickly you must be back. Most businesses need both, and we design them together.
Isn't a backup that completes every night enough?
Not on its own. A backup job can report success and still fail to restore, because of corruption, missing data or an untested process. We verify recovery, not just completion, so you know the data actually comes back.
Can backups protect against ransomware?
Yes, when designed correctly. We use isolated and immutable copies that ransomware cannot encrypt or delete, plus off-site copies, so you have a clean point to recover from even if live systems are hit.
Do you back up Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace?
Yes. Cloud email and files still need independent backup, the provider protects their platform, not your data from accidental deletion, ransomware or a departing employee. We back these up alongside servers and endpoints.
